Hawk Awareness

The Eyes of Our Sky

This website is a place where fans and supporters can come together to share their passion and interest of Red-Tailed Hawks and other avian species.  The mere presence of Red-Tailed Hawks in urban environments demonstrates signs of a healthy ecosystem.

Hawks have proven to be invaluable to land owners as they prey on mice and other invasive pests. They benefit the ecosystem by strengthening songbirds populations as well as creating habitats for some small bird species that take refuge in active hawk nests.

As Red-Tailed Hawks seek to thrive in urban areas, we have the power to provide these bird species with the necessary tools to be successful. As we learn about the benefits of providing a sustainable habitat, we will create a haven for all wildlife to flourish.
